On this tour, we will first explore the Basilica of San Pietro in Vincoli, renowned for housing the chains of St. Peter and Michelangelo's impressive Tomb of Julius II, a true marvel of marble sculpture. Following this, we'll visit the Basilica of San Clemente, a fascinating site uncovered through 1800s excavations. Finally, our journey culminates at the Cathedral of San Giovanni in Laterano, the principal church of Rome and the world, where we'll also see the Scala Santa, believed to be the stairs Jesus ascended, and the historic Baptistery commissioned by Constantine.
